about the transcendance I felt when I first discovered electro dance. printed on textured paper.
made up of atypical, almost hypnotic movements, it corresponds to a very strong externalization process, both explosive and controlled. the body begins to move frantically under the direction of deep emotions. the resulting energy then releases from the physical body, creating supernatural forms, like a disarticulated body in the middle of an exorcism. it was with this idea that I worked on this series, looking for forms that seemed to escape me, while reflecting bodily memories. dance, like photography, represents images that escape the mind.
